The One Called Jesus Collection Visits St. Pius X

St. Pius X Catholic Elementary School has been blessed to experience "The One Called Jesus" travelling collection that visited the School on Monday, September 14th and Tuesday, September 15th, 2015.  Students have had the privilege of witnessing the stories of Jesus through the impressive and evocative coloured clay sculptures of Canadian artist Maurice Gaudreault. Stories come alive through Sister Therese Turcotte who brings the students through the exhibit, sharing information that is age appropriate and interesting.  Students get a true sense of the life of Jesus and an understanding of all that he has done for us.  This traveling religious art exhibit has been touring the various Catholic School Boards of Ontario since 2002.  This exhibit has been a memorable experience for our students.
